Backed by one of Barcelona’s leading music schools, we are a professional team of friendly and fun world-class teachers. We have many years of experience in teaching online. Our lessons are live one-on-one music classes with a dedicated teacher in the instrument of your choosing: guitar, piano, keyboard, bass, ukulele, cello, violin, saxophone, clarinet, flute, singing, accordion, trumpet, trombone, music theory, harmony, music production & editing and a range of other instruments and music subjects.
How we make it happen?
We offer lessons on Zoom and Skype, but if you prefer we can also teach over Hangouts, Facetime and even WhatsApp video call.

All our teachers are hand-picked professional music teachers and musicians and teach on location from our studio in Barcelona. Shine School of Music provides quality music education in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Catalan, and Serbian.
Stay safe, stay at home and learn to play music!
As many of us find ourselves unable to leave home and take part in activities that we normally love, Shine is delighted to be able to still connect with students online. Not only are we able to enjoy a creative and social hour, but we have been able to stay in touch with many students who have found themselves alone during the Corona Virus lockdowns.
Music and musicians have had a huge impact on keeping our communities together during confinement. A few of our teachers have been playing from their balconies for neighbours or doing live online concerts on Facebook and Instagram. As a music school with aims to promote a love of music, it has been both a humbling and encouraging experience to see how music has lifted spirits and connected people as we fight Covid-19 by staying at home!
Music is scientifically proven to alleviate stress and anxiety, improve brain function and, for children, continuing with music classes and maintaining a classroom environment offers stability, structure and a sense of normalcy. Our littlest students might want to try some of our fun musical games at home or get together and make your own family band with home made instruments.

Our music classes over Skype* have become increasingly commonplace practice here at Shine as an ever-growing number of our students are continuing their music education across large distances. In fact, some of our online students have been attending lessons with us for over a decade! In 2009, Shine was one of the first music schools in the world to start teaching on Skype and, currently, our teachers bring music into the homes of students around the world in 23 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas!
All lessons are one-on-one private classes and taught live. No Lessons are downloaded or completed via form. You will have a personal invested teacher on hand for the duration of your lesson to guide you in your chosen instrument. Now you too can learn from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet and a webcam and your instrument of choice.
